Description
Carisoprodol, marketed as Soma, is a carbamate sedative-hypnotic producing similar effects to barbiturates.
It metabolises to Meprobamate in the body and is used medically as a centrally-acting muscle relaxant, anxiolytic and hypnotic for the short-term treatment of insomnia.
Instructions for Dosing:
For recreational purposes, take 2 x 500mg tablets (1000mg) on an empty stomach for a euphoric drowsy but lucid rush. You may increase your dose (if needed) from there onwards by 250mg (half-pill) increments.
Users with low tolerance for CNS depressant drugs and/or low bodyweight should start with a 750mg dose (pill and a half) instead!
DO NOT mix with other CNS depressants: GHB/GBL, Opiates, Alcohol, Benzodiacepines, Ketamine, etc. CNS depressants are relatively safe to take on their own, but when combining them their power is multiplied which can lead to fatal consequences.
Notes: As to personal experience, Hypnotoad finds Carisoprodol to have a quite limited dosing range. Not being progressive in its effects, but suddenly appearing at full power. So if the dosage is not working for you, and you have waited at least 90 minutes, then proceed to gradually increase the dosage until finding your sweetspot for it.
